The Den Hut

We’ve created a unique, up-cycled little holiday home from an old touring caravan and a disused parcel storage van. Joined firmly together and completely refurbished to a high standard, The Den Hut is a cosy two bedroom unit with kitchenette & hallway for boots and coats storage. There’s outdoor seating to enjoy warm days and sunsets. N.B Your designated luxury private toilet and shower room is situated in a separate building, just a few steps from The Den, so bring your dressing gown!

The overall space inside The Den is small but we’ve used a few clever tricks to utilise the space and provide some storage too. It’s ideally suited to 2 people staying with a choice of using the 2 single beds or 1 double bed.

N.B. There are 3 wooden ladder steps up to (and down from) the double bed.

Benches and a table top pull out easily from under the double bed, to give an instant living room/diner effect if required.

We have a small Roku streaming TV in the property which will play all your usual apps for those rainy days.

Please also note that the well appointed, warm toilet and shower facilities are not in the hut itself, but are in a designated block a few steps away. So please bring a dressing gown if you might go during the night or early morning.

There is only a small kitchen space in the hut, suitable for hot drinks and snacks only. We do have a central covered kitchen building though, with tables and seating areas, a fridge, a toaster and a microwave available for all guests to use as a fantastic extra space.

Your hut has its own veranda and patio area with seating, either a fire pit or Chimenea and a barbecue area.

We hope all guests will enjoy our rural garden setting, surrounded by birds and wildlife of many sorts. The starry nights can be amazing if the clouds disappear, so step outside and look up.

Sometimes the countryside can be noisy as well as silent, so be prepared for some fabulous morning birdsong at certain times of the year.

The Den Hut itself is self contained, but the surrounding garden and covered kitchen building are shared with other guests.

One of us is usually around as we live next door, and can also be reached by phone or text. We’ll respond as quickly as possible and call round if needed.

Keddington is a tiny Lincolnshire village on the outskirts of the charming market town of Louth. The vicinity is quiet and relaxing but still within a short distance of riverside walks, amenities, shops and pubs.

There is plenty of parking space at the property.

There is a separate heated toilet and shower building with your own designated facility for private use during your stay.
