The Den Hut

Please note that pets are not currently permitted in this unit. 

We’ve created a unique, up-cycled glamping pod from an old touring caravan and a disused parcel storage van. Joined firmly together and completely refurbished to a high standard, The Den Hut is a homely 2 room unit with its own kitchenette plus a hallway for boots and coats storage. There’s outdoor seating to enjoy warm days and sunsets. N.B Your designated warm & private toilet with shower is situated in a separate building, just adjacent to The Den Hut.

The overall space inside the two rooms of The Den Hut is small, but we’ve used a few clever tricks to utilise the space and provide some storage too. It’s ideally suited to couples or a solo stay. The WiFi signal could be useful for those looking for a quiet working staycation.

We have a small smart TV in the property which will play all the usual apps for any rainy afternoons or chilly evenings. 

There is a small kitchen space in the hut, just suitable for hot drinks and snacks.   We do have a central covered kitchen building though, with tables and seating areas, a fridge, a toaster and a microwave available for all guests to use as a fantastic extra space.

Your hut has its own veranda and patio area with seating, a Chimenea and a barbecue area.

We hope all guests will enjoy our rural garden setting, surrounded by birds and wildlife of many sorts. The starry nights can be amazing when the skies are clear, so remember to step outside and then look up.

Sometimes the countryside can be noisy as well as silent, so be prepared for some fabulous early morning birdsong at certain times of the year.

The Den Hut itself is self contained, but the surrounding garden and covered kitchen building are shared with up to 4 other guests, depending who’s staying.

One of us is usually around as we live on site, and can always be reached by phone or text. We’ll respond as quickly as possible and call round if needed.

Keddington is a tiny Lincolnshire hamlet on the outskirts of the charming Georgian market town of Louth. The vicinity is quiet and relaxing but still within a short distance of riverside walks, rolling countryside, amenities, shops and pubs.

There is a parking space on our main drive. If you are coming in more than one vehicle, please do check with us first.
